I had bought myself two scarves from this season as a birthday present earlier in the month, but have only now gotten around to taking modeling shots. So here are the Plumes en Fete CSGM and the Grand Prix du Faubourg MT Slim, both in the pink/green CWs.

I had actually bought these more or less intending to return the MT Slim - I have tried the format before and didn't find it very wearable. But I have been tempted since this MT Slim came out because I ADORE this design by Ugo Gattoni. I have the 90 but could only find it in a grey/white colorway, and always felt sad to have missed out on a more colorful version. The intricacies of the design come off much better in color, IMO. I was unsure about the MT Slim both because of the format and because it still has large swaths of white/grey. However, after looking at my mod-shots, I might actually keep this. The bow knot looks pretty cute, no? And look at the close-up picture, how can you not like all those tiny little funny people?

As for the CSGM, I have been looking for a fuschia one for a long time to jazz up grey or black sweaters. The dark pink on this is definitely splendid (it looks rather orange-y in my photos but in reality it is very much a fuschia). BUT looking at my mod shots, I'm not sure that I like all the brown/grey feathers. They kind of muddy up the appearence of the shawl, no? Also unsure about the white which is likely to show dirt, and I have this design in a 90 anyway... So despite being convinced I would keep this, I might actually return it. Instead, I could maybe go for something like this Brandebourgs Points shawl (pics below the modshots), which is not pink but has a fab pink hem, or this La Cite Cavaliere ... Thoughts?

Great choices, ajaxbreaker!

I have the fuchsia plumes as well. Maybe it’s how you tied it but I only seem to notice the gorgeous green feathers. It’s one of my fav scarves and surprisingly goes with so much. View attachment 4970047
Thanks for the picture! The feathers do look beautiful here, but they are rather green, whereas my goal was really to obtain something fuschia without too many other distracting colors... Still debating though!

Thank you! My SA told me it was not available in the US so I had to fine it through a reseller.

Thank you Croisette! I adore these colors.
It seems like the fun rainbow colorway didn’t come to the us unless boutiques specifically ordered it. That colorway was not on the website. I got the Della Cavalliera double face in the rainbow colorway, which I ordered through the sa
I work with, but she had to get it from a store in California, as her store didn’t order it.

Question: Has anyone noticed the neon colorway of Exposition Universelle hanging on a mirror in the very last picture posted to the thread entitled I found my first dream Hermes bag today? I don't think I've seen that one posted anywhere previously. Could it be a special edition?

I went and checked, I think that’s CW02 but with some lighting on it that makes it very different looking. I think the colors are “consistently” different from CW02, so I assume it’s 02 under some (perhaps bright blue?) lights!
