Some of the cws are pretty and unusual. The bronzy brown and the pale green (that draws me in with the black) are both nice. Actually, most of the cws are really pretty.

The models look so darn miserable. I find their expressions actually off-putting. Bring back the blank-faces of the old models, at least they still looked professional.

The story behind
In a tribute to nature, its beauty and its infinite creativity, Aline Honoré draws us into a vortex, a whirling crown of feathers. Perfectly reproduced or entirely imaginary, they echo the ceremonial or celebratory adornments they can inspire. For protection, seduction or camouflage, the beauty of the feathers emanates from their function. Guinea fowl, birds-of-paradise, partridges, pheasants, manucodes, parrots… birds from all over the world lend their quill and down feathers to the artist, who magnifies and reinvents them.
I have been a silent reader for a while- but now it’s about time to say THANKS to you and all the others who make such an effort and post the pictures! You really made my day, seeing that plumes will be available in the colourful CW 11
Happy hunting- we have to wait till September (!!!!) when the boutiques will finally be allowed to release the new collection...

I’m truly so enamored with this season’s scarves that I hadn’t looked at a single model’s facial expression! But I agree with you that the aqua and black are stunning. I’m not as much of a silks person, so I probably won’t get more than one. I will have to pick.

DH has also said that I might be able to choose one Cashmere/Silk shawl for the first time (and probably the last). Again, one to go with my new bag would be lovely :loveeyes::loveeyes::loveeyes::loveeyes:

Does anyone have advice?
How exciting for you HermesHope, and I'm afraid although it may be your first CSGM, it won't be your last!! I think the Plumes en Fete would be an amazing first shawl, and perhaps one of the CW's would go nicely with your new bag. Good luck and I hope you are feeling well :hugs:

Ooh! La Danse des Amazones ticks all of my boxes! My love of Ancient Greek art. That helmet. The owl!

But which colourway to go with my new bag?

Great bag, HH! I also love Danse des Amazones, but the CWs all seem supremely bizarre. No doubt they look amazing IRL. I hope people start to show some modeling shots here. They always make me change my mind!

The story behind
Renowned animal painter and worldly portraitist, Xavier de Poret (1897-1975) is famous for his hunting scenes and studies of horses and birds. At the heart of a scarf released for the first time in 1956, calm and pensive basset hounds are designed in different postures. A hunting dog responsible for retrieving game, the basset is known for its intelligence and loyalty. The artist has affectionately sketched his furry friend, whose depth of vision is enhanced by a plain background.
I like the retro feel of 01

Thanks to all who have posted pictures and @LadyCupid you made my day with the plumes. I’m obsessed. This one is trouble for my wallet for sure because I am seeing at least 3 cws that I love. Cw2 is the current front runner as I don’t really have anything that neutral with the bronzes, blues, beiges. The other contender is the beautiful royal blue one, I own 4 90cm of plumes but nothing that shade of blue. I also love the cite CSGM the soft pink and lavender one, and the lime green cw as I also don’t own anything that looks like that. Don’t kill me but the 90 cm designs aren’t doing much for me this go around, I am all about the CSGMs, and potentially one of the basset 70cms. Can’t wait to see these and look forward to see what everyone welcomes home this season. Happy scarf hunting!!
