The story behind
The toucan, a climbing bird characteristic of tropical forests, is particularly prevalent in the Amazon. Here, illustrator Katie Scott, who is passionate about biology and renowned for her botanical and animal plates, presents an imaginary species. The birds chirp proudly – no doubt heralding a song that will make them the kings of the woods! Their decorative plumage, characteristic of the bird-of-paradise and the peacock, underlines their rarity and the exotic inspiration of their designer. These elements combine to form a marvelous painting tinged with naturalism.

Thank you so, so much @LadyCupid for doing what you do season after season in these scarf threads, you are an absolute superstar!! :hbeat::hbeat::hbeat:

The mod shots are indeed incredibly helpful and have actually made me edit my wishlist. Unfortunately I now get what some others were saying about La Légende de la Forêt being too busy when tied / worn. Meanwhile I see the little owl on the corner of La Danse Des Amazones and it is just making me smile...

What has not changed is my feeling that La Légende du Cheval à Plumes will be a multi-CW buy for me. I have given up on limiting myself to one CW per design, but I am trying to make myself only do multiple CWs for a single design per season. Ugo remains my winner for this season!

I'm getting worried...I love the designs but the colours are going to kill me. Even La Légende de la Forêt looked too "yellow" gold but I rarely trust H photos. Fingers crossed it's the colour of the first photos IRL. Sad that Amazones is also full of deadly colour combos for me. I hate when this happens...fingers crossed Legende is as I hope it is, and that there is a Jardins de Soir that works for me (Cavaliers would be a second CSGM). :-s
