Authenticate4U.com experiences?

TPF may earn a commission from merchant affiliate
links, including eBay, Amazon, and others

if you did a search in this thread, you'll see that the fastest and most direct way is to message them via FB. I set up an account just for that and it's worked like a charm, turnaround is 2 days at the most though I've gotten same day before including weekends.

How long ago did you originally send in the request?
It's been one week since I initially sent in my request. I had to follow up with them to confirm that they even received it because I never got a confirmation email, and merchants require a certain amount of time to return items if you are trying to verify authenticity, and my item was already purchased, so I imagine they understand that time is of the essence with authentications.

To me, it doesn't make sense for a consumer who finds their business website to then have to go dig through a different forum to find the best way to communicate with them, especially when their website does not ask you to communicate with them via Facebook. Their own website lists their email address and their phone number as a method of contact. If Facebook is their best method of contact then they will need to update their website to reflect that they have slow turnaround times with email and they do not answer phone calls or return voice messages.

1 week isn’t that bad.

you're not wrong to feel this way, but realistically it's a given fact of life that businesses fail customers. being that I'm a doer and not a waiting around kinda gal, I use FB to message my requests there's a proven shortcut and an easier way to get things done, that's all.

I agree in that businesses do fail customers, and no business is perfect, but when there is a stream of customers with the same complains, it warrants a moment of pause. This isn't a Facebook problem, but more of a management problem. I want all honest businesses to succeed and fully support small businesses, and have nothing against A4U. I can only speak on my own negative experience and hope they turn things around.

Got my YSL scarf authenticated recently. There was a small problem with FB (nothing to do with AU4u) and it got sorted while I received my response same day. I got other items authenticated and had no issues. Currently awaiting formal evaluations.

I do recommend them.

Thanks! I submitted a request and photos via Facebook and got a FB messenger authentication with 24 hours. They are going to send me a PDF file as well. Very pleased with their service!

A request was made last week to A4U to authenticate an Hermes wallet.
Bababebi doesn't authenticate wallets or small leather goods.
After reaching out in the last several days with a follow up e-mail as well as a voice message, there has been
NO RESPONSE .
