Authenticate Those SHOES

Is this Chanel ballet flat authentic? The seller says their camera is autoadjusting the color and the color of the last pic is most true to life. I think they put rubber on the soles.

I found it on a Japanese website so I would prefer not to post links because of strange defamation laws here.

This is a highly counterfeited shoe and the fakes are excellent. I own this identical shoe and there are marked differences. Let’s let Shuze weigh in as well.

I will always defer to you on Blahnik and Chanel as you wear them and I don’t. They look off to me too BUT I have never seen anyone put $50 genuine Vibrum soling on a fake. Sorry but passing here.

Thank you! The seller says they used a popular social personal shopping service app and bought it from overseas (which I thought was a red flag). I think it's possible the seller doesn't know it's off so they put Vibrum on the shoes to protect it before wearing it because Japanese people often take expensive shoes to cobblers to protect the soles when new...

There are stitching issues that do not match my shoes.

Item Name: YSL Tribute Sandal Heels
Seller: Vestiaire Collective, seller from Hong Kong
Comments: these were authenticated by VC and deemed appropriate to ship to me. I have a hunch they are fake because the engravings on the soles are not very clear and there aren't any engravings on the buckle (not sure if it should have), but am unsure. Appreciate the help! I agree and that’s the only thing that makes sense. Soling is off.

I need to see the shoe in profile.

I found another beige & black Chanel ballet flat. The seller is a Japanese consignment shop that has an actual store, and they have supposedly authenticated it. The size is 36.

Could anyone tell if it's authentic or sus based on the photos? They are not the best, though.

Actually, the above shoes have just been sold to someone else so please ignore the above request! Hopefully, the shoe was authentic...

How about this one? It's from another major Japanese consignment store that also sell on Vestiaire Collective too. The number of photos are very limited though.

Are some the tribute heels’ buckles not engraved?

For example, here is a picture of the heels from Nordstrom. The buckle is squared and has the logo engraved on it.

Thank you!

That’s definitely a new one. The shoe has existed for over a decade but if they’re not returnable do not buy them. Some of the fakes are getting too good to tell without having them in hand.
