Phew - I just found some on Vestaire with the same logo as the ones I just bought - hopefully this means the newer ones might be different? I will keep looking.

Is this Blahnik Hangisi counterfeit? It's supposedly brand new but the price is way too low and it looks off.

(I haven't bought it, but I found it on an Asian website similar to Mercari. Can't post links because the country has strange defamation laws, posting links might be considered accusing the seller (even though it might be true. The seller only posted 4 photos because the website only allows 4 pictures.)

The pictures are fuzzy and give very little information, this shoe is in high demand and is full price everywhere in this color. If it’s discounted, I would keep away.

This specific shoe has been highly counterfeited.

Hello,

I am looking for help in authenticating these Stuart Weitzman Tieland boots in pink. I got them from Vestiare Collective without the authenticity verification, which I regret. My main concern is the plasticky feeling of the soles, loose threads inside, and the seemingly incomplete item number inside the boots. The upper part near the tie is also slightly wider than for my other pair (heavily used) which I purchased new from Nordstrom a couple of years ago. These appear to be a newer model, similar to what is posted on the Stuart Weitzman webpage, but I am looking for any additional input.

Honestly think they’re OK. IMO the quality is not the same anymore On the volume production.

Agreed, the quality of my older SWs is much higher. The leather is soft and velvety, and seems to be more fitted to the leg. I'm not happy with these ones.

As far as the pictures, the inner soul and stitching around the MB tag looked off. I’ve been buying this shoe since its original release about 15 years ago and have multiple pairs in all heel heights and flats. I was at the 10 year anniversary party at the MB event in Manhattan where they introduced some limited editions of the hangisi. I am familiar with the intricacies of this shoe. I’ve seen the counterfeits and they’re very good, this shoe remains enormously popular and counterfeits abound. Manolo created a shoe named after me that was very popular and Louboutin and Chanel made very similar versions, and there was a Chinese counterfeit that was very good. I have it here in my house on display next to the the real deal. Up close and personal even my friends can see the difference between a quality shoe and a knock off.
