Nope. They're a Yahoo store, which means anyone can put it up, they sell brands that are never sold by third parties, and they charge a 10% restocking fee, which is total BS. I'd stay far away from them.

Hi All,

I am a new member and wish I have seen this forum before. I can't believe that I am a victim of the Scam. I ordered a Burberry bag fom Modabelle website ltwo weeks ago. They told me that the item has been shipped. I ran into the same issue, keep waiting for the item to come. I am feeling very sad now knowing that I would never get my bag. Does anyone knows how to stop this company from doing business again. How to get them?

First of all, welcome and I'm sorry this happened to you!

Call your credit card and file a chargeback.

Please do NOT let them get away w/ this. EXPOSE EXPOSE EXPOSE!!
Put all kinds of info all over the internet so when someone googles these scammers before thinking of purchasing (as you should have done, correct?) the information will show up deterring others from purchasing.

File charges.......... Start w/ the attorney general's office.

Here is a link to a thread w/ more info..........

You do realize that if you do receive your bag, it will be a counterfeit.

Welcome and you can get to them. If they are not responding to you, use this link
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/shopping/general.html

you may have to set up a free email with yahoo to get an ID. They were quite responsive and will contact the merchant - modabelle for you. mian designer is the same merchant btw!

Then, attempt to cancel your order if you haven't been charged an amount yet. Their policy on their site legally allows you to cancel. Try numerous times both via email and phone.

Next, if they have charged your card, looks to your credit card company for help. If you paid cash or other means, threaten to charge them with postal fraud and cotact the US postal service. (because there items are fraudulently being represented as authentic) I'm a lawyer in Canada and I quickly learned about strategies you can use no matter where you live.

I hope you used a credit card, because you have more leverage. If they have charged your card but if after a certain amount of time you haven't received the product, your card agency can begin a dispute for you. If you didn't use a card, there is still avenues you can persue, postal fraud etc..
I hope I have helped. You are surely not alone. Please keep us posted and I wish you luck.:smile1:
