I think it actually is python. Obviously this doesn't include private sellers. But reputable stores and reselling platforms tend to be more careful when advertising exotic leathers.

I learnt that from buying other things, Ayers means a kind of water snake ( Karung is the name) It's sort of easier to source maybe..... Thank you for the info. ok Good thing I am buying from a local private seller, as CITES could be difficult from overseas.
