You're welcome. I don't know about the hardware, but if it was like this from the beginning, then it's probably just a design choice or them using what they had. If it got discolored with time, then it had been made using different coating materials. If I remember correctly, none of my PS1 bags have mismatched hardware. It's OK, small things like that don't mean the bag isn't real.

I hope you can return it - I don't know what country you're located in, but in most places, it's against the law to sell counterfeit items. Regardless of the seller's return policy, they should take it back and refund you.
