Hi there! I really have no doubts that my new to me PS1 is authentic but I was hoping to get more info about it. I'd like to know the color and which season it might be from. Is this color military green? I know it's an older one because the hardware on my medium doesn't have the cursive engraving. BTW thank you so much @IntheOcean for your photo guide I found in an old post. It confirmed this bag was a large and I just had to buy it! I'm so excited to use this bag for fall - I love how worn in and soft the leather is.

Hi and welcome the PF :) Wait for @Elliespurse to comment, but I believe it's authentic. Although the second picture, the modeling shot, is not of the same bag - it's a different, earlier PS11.

Also, in the comment section someone accused the seller of scamming them. Could be anything, really. Just be cautious.

Hi, welcome to the PF! Yes, I believe it's the color Military. Could also be Khaki, though - both these colors were realized at the same time and they look really similar. Hard to tell due to the bag being somewhat discolored. The Military was a bit more greenish.

It's a great bag, congrats! :tup:

Yes thank you. That comment scared me! Appreciate it. Know anything about the D ring? Some classics have them and some do not. Was this a feature in earlier PS11s?

It's a PS1 from 2010-2012 in Saddle color.

Hello everyone, I've been reading this thread with great interest and am learning a lot! I am considering this PS1 but I noticed some irregularities from other PS1s I'm looking at. (1) The flap isn't multilayered (instead two layers of flaps, this one just has the outline of the top-most flap suggested with stitching). (2) The loops have an extra area that's sewn in. I understand that the interior, labels and such are very important, so I found photos of what looks to me like the same model in a different colour that did have interior photos. I noticed that (3) the font on the label doesn't look right? There isn't enough negative space in the P, e, and a? (4) no logo on the lining but perhaps it outside of the photo frame. Honestly, I wish I could just hold and smell the purse to assess the quality of the leather. Anyways, I would be much obliged to know what your keen eyes tell you! Thank you so much for offering this assistance!

p.s. Just discovered your reference thread!! Very helpful. I see the flap and loops are okay.
