We don't disclose reasons why an item is deemed counterfeit as we don't want to help the replica makers do a better job, iykwim? If specific reasons are needed, you can obtain a written statement(for a fee) from authentication services like Authenticate4you or Fakespotters.
In this case, I'd go with overall appearance and see what seller says prior to paid for services.
I will have a look at the bag charm for you....

I don't want to imply that this seller knew the purse was counterfeit, as the bag is good & she was completely transparent when the purse zip pull broke and I thought her gesture of including the bag charm as compensation was more than fair. I'll contact her through ebay now.

You could try to show seller our reply. Did you pay by Paypal? If so, Paypal require a written statement in order to refund you - not very expensive through Authenticate4you or Fakespotters.

yes ive copied them in on this link so they can see the bag is a clear fake as i thought as soon as i saw the serial number xxx thanks Kris for all your help. Hopefully now they see its a fake they will refund me x
