Since the auth forum is temp closed down, I'm probably missing some results from my search...

I'm thinking it's fake, but shouldn't the seller know better as a reseller/consignment? Or is this something that is actually real??

could this be that this bag is one of the older styles. I don't like the proportion of the pockets to the bag. Seems smaller than other MPs. What olor would this be? old emerald?

Not sure if you are referring to these 2 listings. The seller asked that potential buyers look into her previous listing, are they of the same MP? If yes, why did she post different pictures instead of just relisting it?

The only photos that enlarge is the first photo(which is deja vu, I think I've seen that photo elsewhere), and the reciept, which she may have taken herself.

And did you notice that the Venetia auction's last photo is a Multipocket photo, not a Venetia? Perhaps she bought both bags during the Anniversary sale.

Ok, that makes sense now. I wonder why she didn't relist it, it would have saved her so much time and better quality photos.

The blake above looks ok from what I can tell, the leather quality looks really good and the shape looks good. The color is gorgeous.

Bag.lover, I have a Midnight Elise and you're right, the zipper should say M8. However, the pic in the auction is inconclusive to me. Judging from all other aspects of the bag I would say it looks authentic. I'm interested in hearing about what the closer-up pic will say!

Didn't hear back from seller.
This bag passed other tests, but I'm totally unsure about the zipper b/c the 2nd row looks a lot smaller than the 1st row. M8 is the same height as riri in the authentic bags. We'll see.

I tried to get all CSI on that zipper picture in photoshop yesterday with inconclusive results. Couldn't make that shape out to be an 8 or anything, just looks blobby. Maybe I'll futz around some more with it today. I'm not sure I want to bid on this particular bag, but I sense that there are other ladies here who'd appreciate a shot at it if it's real.

The funny thing is that the Ursula Elise fakes have M8 in the 2nd row too, but they are still different -- the real one is thicker. When there's a response from the seller, we can then compare the zipper with those from the real ones.

^ Personally, I wouldn't bid either. I just have to be absolutely sure that the bag's authentic & the seller sells real things (past feedbacks too). Before getting my Maroon Venetia from an unfamilar seller recently, I troubled many tPF experts. =) Had to confirm that it was indeed authentic & previously sold items (Balenciaga bag & others) were real before I went for it. =) Better to be safe than sorry. =)

Good to know that zipper could still be "off" even if the number is right. Oh, and my policy is I'd rather miss out on a real bag then unwittingly get a fake. :yucky:
