The nice thing about this site is that the shipping is free, and they appear to have an easy return policy (with no restocking fee!) in case it's fake. Let us know, because I'm curious about this site.

One thing did make me very wary of this site. I was interested in an MJ bag on their site, so I sent an email asking questions about the bag (that would help me know if it was authentic). I got a very short reply that just said, "This is no longer available - sorry". Well, it was still showing on their site as "in stock". A few days later, I emailed back and let them know that it was still showing as in stock, and I was even able to add it to my cart (though I did not buy it), and they said it was an oversight. Well, the bag is STILL on the site as In Stock. Wouldn't you think that they would have updated the site by now? It seems like they were hiding something from me since I asked a lot of questions.

I'm looking at my Black Venetia right now..I actually have 3 Venetias, eventhough all the hardwares look good, the shape and leather look off. The base of my Venetia is wider than the top . It flares out , not in. Also, the leather look a little stiff. .I might be wrong since the hardwares look good..Could the hardwares be taken from another bag? Wait and see what others have to say.

I don't have a good feeling about this bag, the handles look too long for a Venetia. The shape looks off too me also, almost too boxy IMO. I would keep looking elsewhere. Did you ask Nordies to do a central search across all stores?

Pictures would help a lot! I doubt hardware would be taken off another bag, as that would reduce the profit that a faker could make. But then again, anything is possible!

i agree with aitienadog and thithi, the shape on this Venetia is totally off. Also, the engraving on the pushlocks and zipper is not crisp at all, and it's curved too much towards the left on the pushlock, it's not centered. If you look closely at the zipper, the height of 'O' is bigger than 'C' and 'B'.

Appears to be a grape Stella from the original '02 season. Seller calls it a Sofia but dimensions make me think it's a Stella. I'm wondering about the shape, though. It seems a little strange/different. But maybe this was what the older Stellas were like? :confused1:

It's kinda hard to tell, the color, double stitching on pockets and blue lining seems correct. But i don't know if the Stella came in this style. i know this color came in the Stella (double straps), Sophia and Devon (double straps messenger style...kinda like a bigger Anouk). Ask the seller for more closeup pics of the zipper. i do not know of any Macy's in NY that sells MJ, maybe they used to back in 2002...but they definitely don't now.

There is a gorgeous black Venetia at Neiman Marcus in Palm Beach (561.805.6150, ext 2117 for Dana). I am not sure if it is on sale, however.

It's a strange one isn't it? I posted one similar to this in the rare/dc bags thread because it was so unusual but had all the correct details. I think it's real, but it's so long! with 19 inches I could almost pitch a tent!
