seems like if it looks too good to be true.....but i thought it was worth checking it out with you ladies before dismissing entirely, since it was actually posted on a reputable site today as a source for another item.

For everyone who's looking for Stam on ebay, please be very careful. I have noticed that many sellers use some up-close shots (depicting the leather texture & hardware) from Net-a-porter. Some sellers even use pictures of authentic Stams in their listings. Some of you might remember the stolen pic(s) of a member's Petrol Stam, that seller was trying to pass off his/her fake version as the real thing.
It's been said over & over again that authentic Stams (even used ones) sell for $1000+ on ebay; the lowest we have seen was $900 on a less popular color. Stams with suede lining are no longer made, the demands for them are higher. Ebay is flooded with fakes from that season with price tag ranging from $200-$700 (more maybe). I don't see the chance of finding a real one at an incredibly low price --- unless Stam gets less popular in a few seasons.

Seller seems fishy to me, this is the 12th Blake in black sold this month... And each auction uses the same photos. I would be wary....
I am a first time user of this website, and a first time ebayer. I bought a bag that I have been coveting for ages- but am not sure if I was duped! And it was expensive! (And I am a poor grad student). The seller has told me twice that the bag is guaranteed 100% authentic and has promised my money back if I am not satisfied. Can someone tell me what they think???

bb3 that is one of the most faked MJ bags and after looking @ the photos I'm still unsure.
