Ok, my old Dooney and Bourke Anniversary Tote died recently after four years of faithful service. Im more of a "one bag for life" lady so Im taking my next purchase rather seriously.

I fell in love with the Luella Gisele bag and decided it must be mine. Im worried about buying it online but the ones on Ebay seem to be legit... I was wondering if I way have a bit of expert advice from the ladies (and gentlemen!) at this forum.

Hi

I just bought this Luella bag on ebay and would like to know more about it. It's in good shape but has seen some pen marks on the inside and light abrasions on the bottom straps. I'm just wondering if it is authentic or not? The quality of the leather and workmanship is great though. I'm going to give it an overhaul with some Meguiars products I have seen recommended in here and surprise my wife with it. She always wanted a big oak coloured bag.

I think is real (98.8 %). The hardware is gorgeaous but I'm not familiar with it. Its possible that this might be a botique bag from london or its a bag from the last collection she made around 2008/2009, or at least around that time. I think your wife will L O V E it :-). If you can't restore the bag take it to a trusted shoe cobbler.
