I have the same bag in red. This bag is authentic, however, you should know that the strap is the biggest pain in the ass in the history of handbags. There are 2 holes and 2 studs to push through the holes to keep it together. The studs keep coming out and the bag keeps falling onto the ground as I walk. The chain is so ridiculously heavy as to make the bag unwearable. I would love to see it worn as a messenger because I can't see how it can be done. This bag is completely shapeless and crumples unless it is stuffed. I used this bag for a week and then put it in my closet for when I am old and senile and can't remember how annoying it was.

That is one beautiful Lanvin bag and the red is so sexy and beautiful. I was seriously considering getting the bag that you have Kitty in black on Ebay a couple of months ago but was outbid. Maybe it's a good thing that I don't have the bag because of all the problems you've encountered.
But I hear you about the uncomfortable chain handles. I have a Partage and Pise sac with chain handles and they really dig into my shoulders when I put alot (who doesn't?) of stuff into them and hurt my shoulders.
So while Lanvin bags are super pretty some of the designs on the strap/handle of the bag need to be reworked to be comfortable, functionable and reliable.

The first one is definitely authentic. It's a SS09 Pop Shoulder in the SS09 signature leopard print. It's a cutie!!

The second one I'm pretty certain it's authentic as well...it's a Kansas(either 06 or 07). Everything checks out, but to be absolutely certain, I need to see super-sized versions of the pics...to see the texture of leather, the finishing stitches, the rivets etc.
