Wondering if this is a fake. Seller is listing "new with tags" and shows the tag attached to the bag and some mail order invoice, but this bag is clearly not the "montego bowler" as shown on the tag. And, clearly the seller doesn't know what its selling. Do you think it's a fake or a scam (or both)?

The bag is real. I don't know why he has the wrong tag but people selling LAMB on ebay often have the bag name wrong.

can someone please take a look at these listings thanks

I just recieved my first L.A.M.B bag ever so I'm not an expert at this. But I've read on ebay that the inside label (might just apply to clothing) should read "Where did my lamb go?" But instead it reads "Made in Vietnam." I asked Bluefly customer rep and they said they proudly stand behind their authenticity, but I'm not sure. It comes with a dust bag and stitching and material look fine. Am I just being paranoid?

This is the bag I received: http://www.bluefly.com/LAMB-lamb-logo-print-vinyl-Grandvale-shoulder-bag/SEARCH/311457803/detail.fly

"Where Did My LAMB Go?" only applies to clothing from older seasons. It was never on bags.

The bag you have posted is legit.

IMO it does look authentic BUT do you want to spend $200 on a bag you have to FIX? I wonder if the screws do come off and if it is an EASY FIX.....if I really wanted the bag and it was an easy fix I WOULD make the investment and put the time in. But thats just my CRAZY. Good Luck and let us know what you decide.

...keep in mind that if you WAIT long enough, the bag you love will come

The screws are likely decorative, and they are really a bolt or rivet. I don't think it would be an easy fix... And probably not a cheap one, either.

Aside from that the bag is authentic. If you *really* want it, try negotiating the price by saying that it will cost money to fix the nameplate. But just know that the nameplate may be stuck that way no matter what.
