Hi L.A.M.B. experts, I have found the strangest Marigold Williamsfield on Ebay. It is NWT, and has several pictures showing the details. The weird think is the lining is the black lining, and the dustbag is also the black one. This Marigold was supposed to have the original striped lining and striped dustbag. Are they re-releasing this print or is this a fake?

Don't worry, guys. The re-issued versions of the Marigold are supposed to be with the newer black lining & dust bag (and the leather nameplate actually has the Old English font too). There are a bunch of Marigolds (Broadgate, Cambridge, Williamsfields) being shipped to/sold at the outlets at this time.

I've seen those versions too and happen to prefer them to the old (they are much lighter too). The original version sucked with the flappy PVC small pockets (nothing will stay inside those anyway) and the heavier smooth lining once found on the Soft Sig line.

i think this is one of the "mutant" bags that have been popping up at the outlets that vhsethan was talking about....they're authentic, just having an identity crisis....

That makes 3 versions of the Marigold bags! The original, the black & white striped lining but leather nameplate and now this one with the all-black lining.


BTW, doesn't it looked like she just bought the bag and took a picture of it in her car? She probably didn't even leave the parking lot!

I need to get to an outlet, because I really wanted an original Marigold, so I am happy these are authentic and being rereleased. I also hated the cheap look of the pvc pockets, so this is better just as csalt pointed out.

When we are talking about outlets we are talking about Nordstrom Rack, Off 5th (Saks) and Last Call (Neiman Marcus). I wish there were L.A.M.B. outlets, I think we would all be in heaven!
