My new bag is definately going to be here Friday and can't wait.
Just a couple of quick questions.
Is the colour bourbon as some that I have looked at on the net look different and is it a recent bag or was it an earlier one as would like to know as much about the bag as I can?

Rose, you might enjoy going through the Kooba "closet" here on the Kooba forum, where members post their photos. You can somewhat figure out dates and colors and styles there--plus it's fun to look at the photos!

Got my beautiful Paige today and really happy with it.
My first Kooba but hopefully not my last especially now I know that people are so helpful in helping me to feel sure about the authenticity of bags.
Not even as heavy as I had expected it to be having read comments about it on this site. Mind you could just be as I have been using my Derek Lamb Violet bag for last few days and any bags seems light compared to that one ;)

I posted this in the wrong place! There is a Lucy on sale on Ebay that states that it is an "Ocean Mist" - light blue color. I didn't think that Lucy ever came in that color. I know it comes in Jade but this definitely doesn't look like Jade. Does anyone know if this is a legit color?

Actually have now found out that it is a Kooba Linda. D

Yep, it's a Kooba Linda. Lovely!
Be aware that ReplicaShow had fake Lindas out there but I don't think they were every in purple. (could be wrong)

Cyn, I know little about Lucys. I was hoping someone with Lucy experience would post here but no one has yet. I agree... the color seems a tad odd. The name though could come from the seller 'guessing.' You might want to hit some of the replica sites and see if it pops up in that color. That's what I do when I'm not sure.

Hi Purselove, It LOOKS okay but I need to see photos of the zipper pull from the side (Kooba zipper pulls are slightly wedge-shaped. photos from my Koobas...one older, one new, attached) You also need to ask the seller for a photo of the 'made in/manufactured in/crafted in' tag sewn into an interior seam. She may have to feel around to find it (I just bought a brand new Millie from a legit store and it took ME a while to find that tag). Again, you can see examples of 'real' and 'fake' interior tags here on this forum.

I'm not as familiar with the Ada as others here might be. I don't know if the color is correct or not--I believe it's an older bag no longer in production.

There are (sadly) Kooba fakes out there and even a legit seller on eBay may be unaware. That's why the tag and zipper are important. ;-)
