That's it... for now #_# thanks much ladies, need your expert eyes to help me authenticate :)

Hi! As we posted above Fromrondei is a trusted seller. Studer is also a great seller, no need to worry about her charms.

The other two charms from the third seller look fine.

In the future you can check out your charms by comparing the photos to those found in our reference thread at the top of the forum page. Just use the search function for the charm you want.

If it's not there or you still have questions, come back here and we will try to help.

Hi ladies, another question, has anyone bought from anyone of the above eBay sellers & how are your experiences so far? How's Dannimariebags?

Truthfully, I have not had experience on eBay (weird I know), hence a Lil' apprehensive but eager to try, & hopefully the buying experience will be a pleasant one, for myself & for the seller I deal with. Any insights would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Tags = the white stickers, yes. Juicy charms have numbers (sometimes more than one) and the number is printed on the sticker.

RE: the stringed tag. I have received charms with those from many places including JC. Most don't come with it though, I think stores put those on, but the stores I shop at don't usually do that.

RE: the boxes. I don't pay more for tagged boxes. As long as the charm checks out, I don't care about the boxes. Also it's no guarantee that the charm is authentic.

If anyone else pays more for charms in the original tagged boxes, maybe they will post here and add to the discussion.

I will add, that I won't buy a charm in a fake box, though. I don't care to deal with anyone who buys/sells anything fake because I don't think I can trust them.

The stringed tags on the charms themselves started about 2 years ago, IIRC. Sometime in 2011? Before that, there was only the YJRU tag on the box. Not sure why some have them and others don't. The last batch of charms I got from jc.com didn't have them.

About paying more for charms in original tagged boxes, I think I end up doing that because I prefer to get the charms when they first come out....so that means I'm buying retail from jc, bloomies, etc. Of course I wait until they are on sale.

Also, it seems ebay sellers price the charms higher if it does come with an original tagged box. I have returned charms to ebay sellers when the listing says it comes in the original box & it comes in something else. I've bought a few charms that didn't come with the box & that's fine - a lot of the older ones, people threw away the boxes and they're gone.

A pet peeve of mine is when sellers list older charms with a box that it didn't come with, and list it as new & unused.

So are you new to Juicy Couture charms, just getting started?

Hi Katierose, yes - just getting started! I got myself my first two locally where I am, and have been glued to websites ever since... I have the "Hatched LE 2012" and the "Watermelon". Shipping is expensive and I don't have the luxury of returning items (if any reason at all) simply because the costs will be so much higher than the charms themselves.

Any feedbacks or experiences with any one of the eBay sellers I posted above would be greatly appreciated! Thanks much ladies!

Side note: Sorry Mods, if I'm asking way too many general questions re: authenticity of JC Charms, please remove if need be :)

I always suggest that new charmies, buy new charms from the large retailers until they get to know the charms, kind of get a feel for the different types of JC charms.
There's lots of fake charms on ebay and a lot of scam sellers, so buying new from retailers avoids all that.

Hi Katierose, good idea... only that I'm playing the catch up game and I find many on eBay I really love! I might just go overboard with this...

Yeah, those of us that started collecting late are always trying to catch up.

But honestly, there are still a lot of new charms out there in the stores like the smaller retailers, and the outlets have a ton of them and at reduced prices too.

And the one rule about collecting these charms is that if we don't buy the new charms when they are available at the retailers, we will soon be chasing them down on ebay. Ebay should be the last resort for us, because of the high prices and the chances of getting a fake.

Thanks for this. I'm located in Asia so accessing to the charms at the stores are expensive + shipping charges can get very expensive too :(

Interested in this, but don't seem to find the photos on TPF. Does anyone here own this charm to authenticate? Any idea from which year? Thanks in advance!

Speaking of carboot sales - I bought this Juicy Couture Love G&P nautical make-up kit at a sale. Still have tags and is new. What the heck is it? I have scoured eBay and amazon and blogs and still nothing! Help! What is the name and retail cost? Anyone know? Thanks, Helen

Here is a link to my FB album (I don't use Flickr): https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.418483338258815.1073741836.282280131879137&type=1

I'm not sure as I only am an "expert" (and always learning at that) on the charms but that is just adorable! It looks alright authenticity wise to me but wait for one of the more experienced "bag" ladies to come along. What a cutie though!!

It looks ok to me. Here it is in the reference thread http://forum.purseblog.com/juicy-co...-charms-bracelets-482240-26.html#post17556472 post number 384 Not sure what year it was released, maybe 2010?

Hi Tatertot, thanks so much! A question though... the tags on the box from the reference thread says YJRU4258, vs. the tag on eBay: YJRUO258. I noticed this too on many other tags where the "4" is replaced with the "O". Does this directly relate to the year of production maybe? TIA!
