KittyK,
Sometimes sellers show photos of real charms, but send something else instead. After all why advertise that you are selling fake charms, kwim? Sellers from China often do this, but it's becoming very common for shady sellers from other places to do this also.
A seller who has a lot of otherwise rare charms, is suspicious and I wouldn't bite, no matter the price. This is one reason a buyer needs to look beyond the photos, at the seller's feedback, their other charms, location, etc. before buying.

On the other hand if JC re-releases this charm then we can all get one that we know is authentic and perhaps at an even better price.

KittyKouture,
We are not supposed to discuss "authenticity" on the charm thread...
Two things right off, if one looks closely one can see a triangle shaped piece right on top that is holding the flowers. On the real charm the flowers are sitting right on the cake without this additional piece. Also at the bottom there should be a real screw, not just the impression of a screw.

hello, I have had this charm for a very long time but I can't remember if it is a prototype or a regular juicy couture charm? (it is definitely not a fake, but either a prototype or reg. charm)
do any of you juicy fans know which it is? :smile1:

Hi there:smile1: If you know for a fact it's authentic it must be a prototype they did. Here are pics of the version Juicy eventually released in boutiques.

Hi there shopaholic:flowers: I've never seen that charm before though someone else may have. If it is authentic it would have to be an early charm because they were sued pretty early on by Proctor & Gamble and had to change the P&G to G&P.

If you are talking about the one on ebay, I had never seen it before either. I looked at it closely and I didn't see any red flags, but I personally would not buy it because so far there is no confirmation that it is an authentic single charm.
IMHO, charms taken from full bracelets and other things like bags, clothing, and perfumes, etc. are in a different category than the bracelet charms sold singly in their box.
