Long story short, when I started my internet bidding shopping career, I had no clue that people could and would lie about something... with all detailed stories. This is a skirt I bought ages ago... and even it was 110% real and I haven't even used it once... now that I was going to sell it, it seems pretty fake for me. It was supposed to be from the more expensive collection... real price something like over 200 USD and the pencil marks just mean that the skirt was on sale. Whatever. Can anyone confirm for sure that it's fake so that I can throw it away? Thanks :)

Hey ladies! :smile1: I'm brand new here, I just won a bag on Ebay and was curious to see if anyone could authenticate it. I kind of jumped the gun when I saw that the style I've been looking for was available...I bid only a few dollars up, but no one else bid. heh So now I'm a bit freaked out about the bag... :wondering Now that I'm calm I see that the pictures are blurry which makes authentication difficult. *sigh* Also the seller is brand new. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Caveat Emptor. I received a charm yesterday from an eBay seller yesterday that was not the one pictured on the auction. There were several things that caught my eye when I received it but it was the wrong limited edition tag on the charm, which should have been 2009 but was replaced with a 2010 that was the smoking gun. I'm just adding this to further substantiate KatieRose's statement that some Sellers sell both real and fake. The following link is to the item listed but not what I received.

If only I had started collecting earlier I wouldn't need to rely on eBay and some of its questionable sellers. I'm just glad I found this site and I can authenticate and communicate with others. Have a Good Day Everyone!

Your link leads to marose7710 , is this the seller ? I used to think "Top-rated seller" is safe! now nothing can be a guarantee .. sigh.

*sigh* I just received the purse I posted about above... Before last week I'd never even held a Juicy Couture item, but I can tell you right now that this purse is fake. I bought a Daydreamer from the Juicy Couture store a few days ago and when comparing them side by side, it's absolutely obvious. As a matter of fact, the purse I received isn't even the one in the pictures. There were a few tiny indications of this, but I wasn't sure until I looked at the "inside" picture - the print above the Shop! pocket is entirely different. What should I do?? :-s I am SO sad. I paid less for my real Juicy purse at the store. The listing said "No refunds" but there's Ebay Buyer Protection...I assume I would go through that, after contacting the seller to ask for a return/refund, etc. *sigh* So depressed.

I would write the seller and say that the bag they sent is not the one you bought, and you are returning it for a full refund. Then open an ebay/Paypal SNAD dispute to show the seller you mean business.

Personally, I wouldn't mention the word "fake" just yet, as that may require you to "prove" it's fake, and necessitates an expert/authenticator in Juicy Couture bags.

There's a Paypal discussion board on ebay, and an "ebay board" here on the purse forum if you need more help...

Cutie - How disappointing - sorry to hear about your bad experience.

I don't see why you would need to return a fake. IMO I would contact my credit card for a chargeback and give them all the information. (but you can only do one or the other - you can't contact paypay and credit card company for same item). Returning a fake allows the seller to resell a counterfeit item to another innocent purchaser. Plus it's illegal to send counterfeit items through the mail. I would contact the seller first though and mention that the purse sent was not the one pictured and is not same quality as the one from the juicy store.

The first is iffy since Juicy makes new designs all the time. I would ask the seller to see the inside: the tag, whatever writing is inside, the color of the lining.
The second one ended, did you win it?
The third is also iffy; the leather is really shiny, Juicy leather is a nice rich color and never looks like plastic. Check department store sites like Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and Bloomingdales for pictures of Daydreamers, to see what I mean. HOWEVER, it might just be the picture, also ask for pictures of the inside of the purse. The threads are iffy. I don't think I've ever seen a Daydreamer in stores with threads that did NOT match the leather...
Hope this helps :)
