The Tish was in the SS07 catalogue as part of the Tulita Collection. I just tried to capture the photo and post it, but I can only "read-only" and cannot copy it. But I found this on some weird blog site: http://measays.vox.com/library/photo/6a00c22527886d604a00cd97277d274cd5.html . I don't know if this is fake - I've never seen one in orange.

Still waiting for Vlad to create the subforum for our Reference Library.

hi i have an orange tish bag that i purchased this summer, it is part of the spring summer collection i believe. it was originally $1595, i bought it from the las vegas jimmy choo store when it went on sale 1/2 off. hope this helps a little!

There are many sellers claim that their JC's bags are authentic. Look at these pics. Do you think it's an imitation? I did email to a seller asking her if it's an authentic one coz her price is even lower than half way of the original. Her answer is "[FONT=Arial, Verdana]Yes, here is the skinny on my bags. I work for a Division of CanWest Media we produce Entertainment Tonight Canada and other shows as well we just recently acquired Alliance Atlantis Studios which produces Movies. We have a Wardrobe dept that receives items from Designers and Retailers who want their items on our Shows & Movies and on-line purchases made by our on set stylists.
After they have finished with them the Wardrobe dept sells them off to employees, hence I can not officially say what the original origin of my bags are as I did not purchase from a retail outlet and am not an official distributor of the items I sell. Thus the super prices I am able to offer my buyers." I have never been to JC's shops and took a closer look on a real bag, but what she said was skeptical. She said she works for CanWest Media that receive many bags from Designers and retailers. Because she has been selling many JC handbags in the same style, but I think Designers or retailers would provide only one of two the same style bags, but not a lot of them for the shows. This seller has sold a ton of fake Marins. Also, I see people on other forums asked about a bag (ex. a Chanel) by this seller, and it has been fake. So, my feeling is STAY AWAY. In addition, the lilac plate is not right. Regardless of the bluriness, it is mounted in the wrong place and there is no "Made in Italy" below it. Screams fake to me! :tdown:

However, this seller replied to me as "I [FONT=Arial, Verdana]can assure you it has the words "made in italy" stamped into the leather under the metal interior label."

I think the reason why the fake costs hundreds of dollars is becoz the manufacturer improve the quality by using better leather and metal plate, zipper, lining and so on. So they sells them with higher prices.

I went bag and told the seller that I was told it was fake. However, if the mahala wasn't made in patent blue then why do sellers show a picture of Lindsey Lohan carrying one? She called me ignorant

The one Lindsey Lohan is carrying is NOT patent. It is a shiny leather with suede. That is plain to see in the photo. Patent is so much more reflective and glossy. I think the seller needs to clean her glasses. Sorry she called you ignorant. Did you contact eBay about this? Their number is: 800-717-EBAY (800-717-3229), from 6am - 9pm, Pacific Time, 7 days a week.

Also, email Jimmy Choo and ask them if the Mahala was ever made in an Electric Blue patent leather. When they answer NO, you can forward that to eBay.

Hope it works out.

beautyrocs, you are not ignorant, you are smart...you did not pay that ignorant person all that money for her fake bag! Stick to your guns! That bag is 100% fake! Don't feel bad, almost all of us have been burned by these skummy sellers on e-bay at one time or another. It happened to me and I fought it and won.
