I am SOOO happy I found this thread! It seems that everyone on this site really knows their stuff about designer handbags so I am hoping you can help me. I bought a Jimmy Choo Tulita bag on ebay and the seller guaranteed it was authentic. When I got it, it was larger than what I expected so I decided to resell it on ebay as she wouldn't except returns. When the buyer received the item she wrote me saying that it was fake as the Tulita was never made in a large size. Can anyone help me figure out if this bag is fake or authentic? I included a link to the original listing below. THANK YOU in advance for your help!

Blondi1978 - Hopefully Robyn will answer this. But I do think the Tulita was a "collection" that had a clutch as well as a medium hobo style...and perhaps more.

Hope it works out.

Blondi1978- Jburgh has too much confidence in my abilities:amuse:
I looked at the link and the font looks good as well as the placement of the "made in Italy" I am not as familiar with the Tulita line, but I am expecting several older JC catalogs from my Awesome SA, so I can take a look in there to see the different sizes and report back to you. I would also imagine Samantha, Llson, & Riffraff might be able to assist. I am so sorry I am not as experienced in this line:sad:

This is helpful and gives me hope. PS...your kitty is SO cute! She almost looks like a Himalayan which is my favorite. :smile1:

Hiya~
Would you mind looking at this and telling me if you think it's real or fake?

Thank you

Hello - while I'm no expert I'm inclined to respond as I just purchased a fake Jimmy Choo Tulita bag on ebay and don't want anyone else to have to go through the same thing I went through. This bag looks like it is part of the Tulita line so a couple of things I was told to look out for include: the snap closure inside the purse for holding keys should have Jimmy Choo engraved on the front; I was told that the interior zipper pull should be metal instead of leather but I'm not a 100% certain on that. Also, the color of the gold hardware should be consistent for every piece on the bag. Also, I have not seen any Tulitas with a zipper pull at the top but then again I'm not 100% certain. See if the seller can send you better pics of the bags interior and also find out if you can return the bag if it is indeed not authentic as the seller states all sales are final. If he/she is not willing to offer you a refund then I would skip this one. Hope this helps and if there is anyone who has any additional insight please let us know! :smile1:

Thank you Blondi:flowers:
She is a Himalayan and she is the sweetest kitty I have ever owned. We actually have 3 kitties, but the other 2 are Siamese
:back2topic:
I am glad Riffraff showed up here to help assist. I am only confident in my abilities on the Riki, Ramona, Mahala, Maddy and Ring bags, but I always try to look at some of the consistent features that are now more prominent in the JC line:yes:

Hello,

I spent the entire evening reading and viewing every auction within this thread. I must say you all rock! Way to go! I normally post within the Dior section and am not that familiar with Jimmy Choo (but after reading this thread, I feel I have a better knowledge of their handbags/etc).

I had a quick question...somewhere within the thread I read that upon the metal label within the handbag the M in "Jimmy Choo" and M in "Made in Italy" should line up with one another. I found an auction upon eBay and believe this seller only sales authentic items, but as you can see this rule does not apply (see pic below). I was just curious.

Any assistance is sincerely appreciated. Thanks!
