Hello, is this the thread where I can ask for your opinion on the authenticity of a Tiffany ring? I purchased it from a coworker who does not have any paperwork for it. She said it is a 0.5 carat platinum band. It is very heavy. It has a "tiffany & co" mark inside & a platinum mark inside. There is no serial number inside. Thank you for any help!

Hello ladies, if anyone has any insight into whether this VCA Alhambra bracelet is authentic, I'd appreciate it. The motifs seem small to me and the box interior is silver satin, not black. Are vintage clovers 14mm (half an inch) in diameter? thanks!

It looks good. The quality is of fine jewellery.

Hello there! Please take a look at these two Tiffany & Co. pieces.

Tiffany HI Tide Wave Necklace by Elsa Peretti 18k Gold Charm RARE LIMITED ITEM
eBay item number: 161349887838

Note: there is a period after the T in T. & Co. which I don't believe I've seen before.

Sterling Silver - TIFFANY & CO Frank Gehry Fish 8.7g - Ring (7.75) SF6371
eBay item number: 351362401369

Note: the outside has a satin finish... while the inside is shiny. Is this really called a Fish ring? Seems more like a Fish Tail to me.

Thank you very much for your keen eye and sharp skills!
I've not seen these particular items in person before but I swear they are both good. The finish is just too good to be fake.

I was watching a YouTube video on "how to spot a fake Tiffany & co. Teardrop" and they say that authentic Teardrops never have their hallmarks on the bottom. What is your opinion on this? I really appreciate your input. Thank you!

I hope this is the appropriate place to ask this question. I received a Diamond Love Bracelet in an estate. When I look online, the price for my bracelet is near $40,000! :woot:

What I am wondering is if Cartier will authenticate this for me. Also, will they sell a screwdriver separately? If I choose to sell this, where would you advise that I go to sell it? I really appreciate any advice. I've been left several items that are SO amazing and I have no idea what to do with them!!!

These rings don't carry serial numbers. If it's heavy and well made with the right marks and the right diamonds then it's a Tiffany & Co.!

What a load of rubbish!!! The things that are deemed real are all real and some of the "fakes" are fakes but not all the "fakes" are fake. This person has very little expertise. The placing and font of the signature has changed over the years. Many of the Peretti pieces date back to the 70s. The Tiffany font has changed a number of times since then and the positioning of the signature has changed too. It's sad when people disseminate myths as though they were truths.

Cartier should be able to help you. Re selling please don't think you're going to get anywhere near $40,000! You'll probably need a good jeweller with an online presence to sell on your behalf. Maybe do a commission deal if you can wait a little.
