Oh dear! They are all fake!Any one noticed the sudden influx of VCA 10 motif white gold turquoise Vintage Alhambra necklaces on the bay recently? All auction listings, not BIN.
Suspicious because white gold turquoise is hard to come by and yet four in three weeks, three of them by zero feedback sellers?
One sold last week by a zero feedback seller for $6600.
Two are currently listed by zero feedback sellers. It appears that one has the same exact photo used in the listing sold last week.
I've asked for close up clear pictures of the serial # and COAs on the current listings, but no replies.
I'm wondering if these listings should be reported. Would appreciate some input from a VCA expert.
Sold last week by seller klus549:

I know - it's also terrible for honest sellers who don't abuse people's trust. It's bad all round. I hope they realise and get their money back.I was really hoping a mod or an expert would pop in and report the listings. I own a 20 motif vintage alhambra necklace myself and I was pretty sure they were fake, but I'm no expert. But zero feedback, no pics of COA or serial # and no reply to questions requesting them so I did report the one listing because the seller had used the exact same photo as a previous listing, but it wasn't removed. It's terrible--they all sold to unsuspecting buyers.

This ring looks of excellent quality. There will be many Tiffany items you've never seen before, just think how many items they have now and multiply by 175 years! Just ask yourself, does this item look like it was made by Tiffany. IMHO it was.Hello!
I was wondering if someone could help me. I purchased this pink sapphire Tiffany ring yesterday and was just looking to have someone more knowledgeable than I am give me the thumbs up. I researched the website a lot and found many rave reviews here on TPF, and it seems the company has an account and posts here as well. Either way, I just wanted someone to calm my nerves! My issue is that I am unable to find another example of this ring with just the pink sapphires as shown. Everything I am seeing has alternating pink sapphires and diamonds. I assume this is because the piece has been retired, but I am unaware of any database or resource to look it up in. What do you think? It's my DREAM ring, so I hope everything checks out! (they have a 14 day return policy, and authenticity guarantee). I am terrified of taking it to Tiffany's to have it cleaned and being told it's a fake. I would die of embarrassment.
to the best I could see, the stone cuts and everything look right to comparable rings.
