Yes BBOS is legit and they sell authentic IF and other bags as well. I have purchased quite a few bags from BBOS and I have been happy with all of them. Even the "pre-owned" bags looked new. Hope that helps! ;)

Can anyone tell me if this bag is authentic or not. I bought this a while back, since it looked authentic and even the seller is quite convincing on her listing and had rave reviews.

Infact, it does look exactly as it does in her ebay listing. My concern is because of 3 reasons:

1. The bag does not have a closure mechanism - no clasp or magnet or anything. Seems quite impractical despite it's shape. If you drop it, all your stuff rolls out for the world to see.

2. There's a Made In China tag inside. Not sure it's a red flag though since I think Isabella Fiore bags are actually manufactured in China only.

3. It's a beautiful bag but when I tried searching for it online.. I only came up with this ebay listing and a couple of ebay china listings. It did make me wonder why such a beautiful bag won't have any reviews online.

Yes.. it is beautiful but is it authentic?

I mean it looks vintage IF with checked fabric lining and the old red and white fabric logo inside. But weren't those bags made in USA instead of china? I know the newer ones are made there but not sure of the older ones.

I bought this older IF handbag at the Salvation Army for $1.50 and wonder if it's real. I haven't been able to find any like it online. The leather is wonderful and soft and it has an inside red cloth label with IF in silver. However, it does have a tag that says made in China and I thought most older bags were made in the US.

Thanks for all of your help, even if it isn't real, I love it.

I hope you can see the images - they are from my desktop... The bag has a paisley blue interior and an embroidered outside with cherries, etc. The handles come up straight from the top with small buckles and it has a magnetic closure.
