I hope someone can help me with this. I usually buy my scarves only from the boutiques, but I no longer live close to one and have to resort to online purchases. I need (oops, I mean want) a gavroche but became suspicious when looking at the photos of this one. The seller says this was bought in 1994 and never worn, but to me the colour and details are not rich and crisp. The seller sold some H scarves a few months back but the photos are no longer posted, though he/she is listing a second scarf as per comments below.

I picked up this scarf the other day at one of the higher end thrift stores in town. I don't know anything about Hermes, but from the quick research I did while in store it seemed okay enough to take a chance on. I'd like to gift it to my Mom as a gift, but only if it is authentic. Could someone give an opinion please?

Comments: Dear Dame and Charming Chick... Can you tell me which of the pictures is closer to the actual color of this scarf. I am very fond of the shade of orange that looks like cantaloupe. And I am wild about that shade when paired with raspberry. The first picture looks to be in that color scheme. But the other two pictures look more traditional orange and the purplish shades look gray and brick (most unflattering to my pink undertones). Which of the pictures is more true? Thank you for being willing to authenticate and share your wisdom.

At first I wasn't convinced it was authentic, but believe it is cw18 and the second and third pictures are pretty accurate.
