Hello! I have had my eye on this for a while but the price really sways me. Could someone please check to see if it is authentic? I think I am paranoid but from digging through the posts it seems 67 cm might be too much of a discrepancy for a 70 cm?

Item: PUZZLE by JOACHIM METZ Cotton 70 Hermes Carre Scarf

Listing number: 171018841885

Seller: tiger0308

Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/171018841885?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

Comments:

1) It says "100% Silk" on the Item Specifics section instead of 100% cotton... (might have used a default listing and forgot to change this though)
2) The title is really "Puzzle II"
3) Says it's from Summer 2006. Not sure if the 70's came out in 2006? (I saw a list on the "Ode to 70cm" thread and their list started at 2007)
4) Size discrepancy... states it is 67 cm x 67 cm

Thanks so much for your help!

hi,

Just bought this used Ferronnerie scarf, which seemed still nice enough to wear. It had no caretag (as it was well-worn). I hope you might be able to tell me whether it is authentic from these photos. With many thanks!

This is authentic from a 100% trustworthy seller.

White discoloration is the hem becoming unraveled and the original "white" that is rolled under in hemming process. Wow, that wasn't even a good sentence. Hope you get what a mean.
Sentence structure irregularities are no problem (I'm a teacher, lol) - I did not realize the scarves are actually white around the edges. Thank you for your expertise!
