Without the above information and current for sale status there will be no authentication

Good Morning,

Could someone please help me authenticate this scarf? I read on page 1 that it is the preference to not authenticate closed sales on eBay. I'm not sure if that actually means you absolutely do not comment on closed sales, or just prefer not to. I have the scarf in hand and can take my own photos if you'd like but I thought these photos were probably better than I would take and wanted to give you the context of the sale in case something about the language or the seller was a red flag for you.

Item: Authentic Hermes Silk Scarf Carre 140 Shawl Wrap Cape L'Arbre de Vie Orange
Listing number: 254050009756
Seller: hirakoba0307
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Authentic-...jXAgN3qOao%3D&orig_cvip=true&nordt=true&rt=nc
Comments: The scarf is lightweight and beautiful. Two things concern me just a tiny bit. The first is that the hem is a little wonky. This may be because it was somewhat squashed giving it an odd, not perfect enough for Hermes look.

Also, I cannot seem to find another like it online. I find variations of this scarf but not this shade of orange that is 100% silk and in 140 cm.

Hi, I am not an authenticator, but couple of months ago I saw a very similar scarf at the “ hall of shame” thread, the price, the care tag, the condition are very similar to that one.

It's not easy for me to ignore polite people, so I will say these things. As an Hermes newbie, try not to buy anything before you research it thoroughly. I know it's difficult, especially when you're looking at a great price. But, at the very least, know the designer's name, know what the care tags should look like, as well as a good copyright symbol. Reasons not to buy this shawl are in these pictures and your stated concerns are valid ones.

I wish the pictures were better and Seller would have bothered to show the title, but I do think Grand Nord is authentic.
The Paperoles pictures are inadequate, and I don't feel good about it.

In the future, please submit one request per post.

If you have the time, could you possibly have a look at 2 scarves I found on a french website, please ?

Oh my goodness, are you saying you believe this is a fake? I'm not sure if you are politely telling me that I ought to be more careful in the future, or if you are politely telling me I just probably bought a fake.

I'm feeling a little faint at my stupidity.
