Hello! I've often looked at threads on tpf, but just recently joined. Thank for you for providing this authentication service- I'll frequently contribute from now on. I've never bought an Hermes scarf on the secondhand market and just want to verify its authenticity before purchasing. Thanks again!

Authentic and a great find.

I believe it's authentic and from the wide-border issue LOL. It really really bugs me that they don't offer more and better pictures. The only reason I feel sanguine about it is I have seen this particular issue in this coloration.

Can you please take a look at this and authenticate please? It's on The RealReal and the pics aren't great (as usual) but the border looks too wide. I've looked at a zillion online pics of this scarf and none of them appear to have a border this wide. Thanks so much!

Item: Hermes Silk Tyger Tiger Hermes Paris silk carre design Shawl Scarf Wrap 140*140
Listing number: 273633265076
Seller: fasioncentral
Link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Hermes-Sil...design-Shawl-Scarf-Wrap-140-140-/273633265076

Comments: I see the seller appeared on the hall of shame for another product, couldn’t find an instance of this being released on jacquard, and they relist the same items over and over (with each selling easily upwards of $400 afaik). The quality of the packaging itself and that it is on jacquard makes me pause on posting it on that board however, as I’m far from an expert. Could someone weigh in on these?

No need to weigh in except to say I wouldn't second-guess the Hall of Shame people.

Comment: looks unique. Update: found poncho and same write-up on poupishop website listed as sold out.
Location reported as Trinidad Colorado. The seller does show photos that appear to be taken in home (ouch, laid on floor)

I've never owned or photographed this item, but the detail in the pictures compare well with other Lalbhai I've seen. That floor/work station looks clean enough to eat off of!

I have two fringed Lalbhai ponchos myself in other colorways (bit of a Lalbhai nut here) and can vouch that they're hard-wearing enough that a little splinter or two from that floor wouldn't rustle them.
