Hello!

Thanks for your past help.
Here's another one.

Item: Hermes Scarf
Listing number:251210422955

Seller: vagabond204
Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/251210422955?ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1431.l2649

Comments: looks real to me, however, I am certainly not an expert. I have already bid (before thinking about it!) My concern is that the seller is in Tokyo, and I've noticed that many of the fakes on ebay seem to come out of there. TIA!

This is authentic.

I know many excellent Japanese sellers (Japan being one of the very few countries in the world with pretty strict copyright and IP laws).
Fakes appear on Ebay in all countries, no exception.

hi there,

i was given a scarf as a gift and i wanted to check its authenticity, am i able to post a photo to this forum and have someone weigh in on the authenticity? it was an op shop find.

Hi!

I did just see the part of the requirements saying you prefer not to give authentication to people just on their own items, i feel bad asking but also I'm in small town New Zealand and have no where else close at hand!

Here are some photos of the scarf. I was given it by a friend who found it at an op shop and got it for me knowing I would like the horse print but not seeing the hermes logo!

Here is a photo of the scarf and further close ups of the hermes logo and artists signature are on my flickr page

Thanks!

This is authentic. It has seen better days, but it is still a beautiful piece (and I am not into horses at all ...).
It is called 'Les Poulains' and has been designed by Xavier de Poret.

There are additional picture seller emailed me. Thanks for your reply!

You may wish to consider to stay away from this seller. From the pictures provided, it is pretty obvious that the seller has no clue what he/she is selling. He/she has sent you pictures of two different shawls. One has the care tag attached, the other not. Different colorways as well.
I seriously doubt that he/she is in the possession of the item. I am pretty sure that I have seen some of the pictures elsewhere (also those in the listing). You may also wish to check seller's feedback. Not a place where I would purchase a shawl, which normally does not go below 1500 USD.

just a little bit of research revealed that the pictures do come from here and I doubt that the tpf'ler who posted pics of the shawl is identical to the seller ...

If I research more, I am sure I will find the other stolen pics as well ....

Thanks for your hard work researching the fraud.
