THANK YOU! I kept fretting 'cause I saw the "tags" and bar code, but then I remembered reading something that Hermes will not come with"plastic bags"...my understanding.......
looks like a pretty good fake to me, but what do I know.
Again, THANK YOU - not only for the answer, but the prompt response! as always with the best regards, Bonnie
Not true that they don't come in plastic, by the way.

It is called Axis Mundi. You may find more information when you just google it or check on luxury-scarves.

Thank You! I will do some research now :smile1:

Edit: I'm sorry, may I ask for further assistance? On all the websites that I'm pulling up, I do not see any in the same colorway as my Aunt's scarf. There are green ones and dark blue ones, as well as many lovely other colors, but none that are this muted blueish teal. Can anybody tell me the proper name for this color? The pictures are pretty true to color.

Thanks again, Ladies!

Hello,

I bought a Hermes Twilly from Therealreal.com (a high end consignment website) and the scarf doesn't look right. I have only seen a few twillys in my life and never seen the box for it.

But here are the issues:

-the box looks very cheaply made and off. Now maybe its old?
-The scarf has nothing on it that says Hermes, no where at all not even discreet wording
-It seams aren't done that well for such a high end brand
-I found the exact style twilly on ebay, and this one has "Hermes" written on it in various places.

I don't know what to do? Therealreal.com says that all their items have been double checked for authencity.

The one I found on Ebay that is being sold by seller "LVAuthentic":http://www.italystation.com/auction/?gallery=IS015231

listing:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/MPRS-NEW-HE...13169?pt=US_Scarves_Wraps&hash=item2a278152b1

This scarf is exactly like mine, except the one listed here has Hermes written in various places.

I will upload pictures of my twilly when im home.
What do you think?

You will have to upload pictures of the item you have purchased and ideally somehow post a link to the item advertised (real.real.com is for registered users only).

The Item is no longer advertised on Therealreal.com as they update and take things down frequently.

I have pictures I took myself but file sharing sites are blocked from my work computer. Is there another way to upload them?

Is it common for a Hermes Twilly to have no branding on it whatsoever?

I am not specializing on Twillies, but the few I own do all have a Hermes Paris and a copyright.
If you did buy a Pani La Shar Pawnee twilly, then it should have both Hermes Paris and the copyright.
