Didn't someone of us get a fake little Garden Party from ebay? Could this be it back up for sale?

Thanks Margieb and mistikat.... I did buy the bag, Cobalt says there are not enough pics to authenticate, but the seller has a good return policy, and I'm feeling frisky!!

I'll post more pics as soon as I receive it. This part is stressful, all the uncertainty....Here we go again.....

Just got these , the two last ones she took yesterday .

PS : I compared the blind stamp and engraving to the ones on my very old toile et cuir .On mine the blind stamp ( A) is the same kind and the engraving very slightly crooked as on this one . I took it a few months ago to have the "enchapes" changed and was told it was made between the 60's and 70's .

Two things get you into trouble with handbags. One is obsession and the other is speed/impatience. This is when mistakes are made.

Wiser words cannot have been said! It is such a shame to see people hand over hard earned money to strangers when it comes to birkin sale! All reasons and caution are thrown out of the window in the goal of a good bargain!

Again, to all those naysayers, these authenticators offer a free service on their OPINIONS based on the information and photos provided. It is, imo, counterproductive to argue about an opinion, as after all, the buyer in the end ultimately has to make an informed decision on whether s/he feels comfortable parting with his/her money. There will always be exceptions, be it a fake from a reliable seller or genuine from a new seller with zero feedback. It really comes down to how informed one wishes to be as well as how comfortable the buyer ultimately feels about the whole transaction and the seller!

As I get off my soap box now, lest not forget to give a round of applause to the gents/ladies who offer their services so freely to this forum! Thanks again! :ps:

Comments: Hi expert, is this bag authentic? If yes ... can the handle and scuff at the back be rescued? Many Thanksssss

I would be very wary .... the seller does not know what they are talking about from size, style, leather, year of manufacturer etc ....

Hi, does that mean the bag is not authentic? Should i contact the seller to get more info or just save my energy? :smile1:

not an authenticator - but that's fake

I was thinking that too but I'm not an authenticator either, I find it hard to believe that she lives in Beverly Hills and knows nothing about Hermes

Just because she lives in BH doesn't make her an expert at anything. She could be a total idiot and live there... KWIM. Or who knows where she lives. You can put anything you want in the location area on an ebay listing. I bet some people put Beverly Hills to instill confidence in the buyer. BTW, on the other two items she has sold she put "Los Angeles" as the location.

She probably couldn't care less about H ... just trying to make a buck.

The bag on the pictures looks authentic to me.

But, I agree with Flossy, this seller does not describe this bag for what it is.

What you could do is ask the seller to give you all measurements of this bag , and to send you some pictures that make you feel sure the bag is in their possession. Up to you if you like to through this, but I would not give you a green light based on the pictures of this listing only. Especially because the bag is NOT a Biirkin 30 made of Togo leather.

The handle and the scuff at the back can be repaired.
