It is sad what I red. I work at Hermes New York city's store. I happened to know this guy "performancebikes"
I authenticated some of his bags and did some minor repairs for him in the past. I have to tell you that this guy is on the level!
I know he does a lot of ebay and personal sales and he's an honest guy. He get's his bags from some of his celebrity friends. The bags are usually purchased in France according to some of the receipts that I saw.
The only reason I reply to this thread to let you ladies know that what "Ladybug^^" does is really not nice!
Reasonless accusations can ruin somebody's business.
I mean who is she?
She already wrote it in an earlier thread that she is not an expert.
So what's in it for her?
Just think about it for a moment!
Believe me, I'm an expert on Hermes bags, I started to work on them in Paris about 15 years ago. I've seen them all and I could still not tell the authenticity by just looking at a small picture! I have to hold them in my hand and take a real careful close look.
So ^Ladybug^^" please stop your accusations. You can't be a happy person.

If I were offered to place 3 special orders by my favorite SA, I would stick to buying Hermes bags from that store ! And could not care less about bags that come from an unknown reseller.
I would never hazard to buy from a reseller that I don't know, then need to ask authentication for each and every bag they offer to me... it is just pointless in my humble opinion, especially if you have to pay a mark up to that people.
Beeing a bit consistant ( and patient) will give you best results in gathering your Hermes bags collection !

Very much appreciate your comment..I will make a SO but I have an H obsession so I want more and more always !! Is that bad? And I post it here so that you guys help me. I have never made a purchase from resellers, ebay r any other reselling boutique. I always get my bags from Hermes boutique. At the moment I want a tri-ostrich which I am ordering as SO but also other things and I don't want to wait a year for them that's all

Authentic, but carefully read the description. The Crinolin part was dyed.

Two things get you into trouble with handbags. One is obsession and the other is speed/impatience. This is when mistakes are made.

Are you certain about that?............ I am not an authenticator, but that particualar bag is such a BAD FAKE.............everything on that bag screams FAKE FAKE FAKE.... If you like to go and see the bag IRL, by all means go ahead and do that.........but you have been given the best of advice here from one of the best authenticators (flossyfigaro, of course)..........
Regarding PMing the details of why the bag is FAKE, how can the authenticators knows who is PMing them, those people could be people who makes FAKE bags and trying to get the details to improve on their FAKEROO............
Not sure what you mean by "normal" - they had it done becaue they said the crinoline was dirty. If you read in the description, they had it done locally - it wasn't done by Hermes. Which likely means Hermes will not accept the bag for maintenance and repair.
