It's a rare Hermès Amazonia and Buffle Skipper CABAS Tote - I would want to see a better picture of the interior stamp before giving it the stamp of approval as that is not clear or large enough ... all other aspects look ok. It dates from 2000.

I am not crazy about it. It could have been a shill sale too. Looks like it has been pulled by eBay. I think I would pass.

So glad you are here for this!!! I thought it might be Amazonia and the stamp looked good to me, but I have never seen this before.

Armand is looking particularly yummy today:)

Comments: I emailed the seller about forms of payment accepted and learned that only bank wire is accepted for this auction. Should I be concerned that seller only accepts bank wire transfer? I think I have to make myself clear about this bag.
The bag looks authentic to me . There is no way for me to explain why as we do not discuss details here, but evidence of authenticity can be found on the pictures of this listing. This is why I would not need any other pictures to call this bag authentic.

I also want to add a comment about the seller : This is an established company that have been on ebay for almost a decade. I would buy from them anytime and feel comfortable to send a wire because I know they have a high level of customer care. To answer your question you should not be concerned about the fact they only take wire transfers.

The price is very high, but as we already discussed here, this is not the price you will pay for the bag if you submit a serious offer to enter into negociation. This is what you actually are expected to do.

Hi fellow TPF-ers, would really appreciate your help in authenticating this birkin, which a friend's friend is selling.

Am a little concerned about the authenticity, as the key of this gold birkin can open the lock of another black birkin that she is selling and vice versa. Have asked the SAs about this, and many said it is not possible and they have not encountered this before, but one SA in the Singapore Hermes Store (Ngee Ann City) actually told me that this was a pretty common problem for bags bought concurrently. Am a little confused with the differing answers.

Also, as this is a friend's friend that is selling, am unsure if it is authentic.

The selling price of is SGD 15000, which is about 10,800USD.

Perlerare, very glad that you referred to the pricing aspect of these sales. I think most people are under the impression that the price is the price and no room for wiggling. The sellers realize that their price is high, and I suspect that is done to initially separate the wheat from the chaff.

As has been stated many time before, a buyer has to feel comfortable and trust the seller. If that is not happening, don't go through with the sale.
