This bag is authentic.
Call your local store for retail price and thendecide how much you are going to pay as a premuim... Up to you ;)

Before I posted this I searched prior threads for this particular bag but I sincerely apologize in advance if I missed earlier discussions. Thanks to Kallie Girl and others, I found this seller on the Reputable Hermes Sellers on EBay list here at TPF, but I'd like to be extra sure about authenticity, especially since the seller does not accept Paypal.

EBay does not allow requiring wire transferes only.
And just a small note, that is a hefty premium on this bag~have you tried calling your Boutique and asking them to do a search for you?

^^Agree. And note that there are no returns accepted, either. Be sure a 40 is what you want, and that you are comfortable with the significant premium over retail being charged here. Also be aware that if you pay via wire transfer, as opposed to PayPal or a credit card, you will have no recourse should there be any issues with the bag.

The photos look like they are of an authentic bag and Luxwear is known for selling authentic. If you are serious about this bag, ask for photos of the blindstamp, the interior, the strap guides and the Hermes stamp.

Thank you for the info about ebay not allowing wire transfers only. Since she is on the reputable sellers list, perhaps she used to accept other forms of payment... Does anyone have personal experience buying from Luxwear recently? Also, yes, I did do a search but alas, no luck. I do have my name down for a 35cm however...

I do not think that this will be possible, as the seller states clearly on the auction that " ...please do not email to request more photos......" ........ but there is no harm trying anyway.........;)

Also, 4 in feedback, does not spell Birkin correctly. Run away, and fast.

If I were in the market for such a bag I would establish communication with seller untill we both agree on every detail of transaction, including the price I am willing to pay.
Make your offer, discuss the payment method, talk until you feel confortable and buy the bag if you agree on everything.

This is a professional seller, running an established company, they are in the business to sell their bags, meanning : they are willing to find a good agrement with their buyer.

I do not see any issue here that could not get solved.

Asking for more pictures is just pointless and will not add any authenticity to an authentic bag....

It is too damaged to be repaired. What you see is what you get and there is nothing to be done to take it back to any better condition.
