In my opinion both of these bags are authentic Evelynes.

This is not authentic.

If you search the seller's name in this thread you will find other posts about bags that this seller had listed previously.

Teddy....we know nothing about this bag unless you post in the format required or at least give us some concise information. We need clear, enlargeable pictures - who is the seller - is this an eBay listing, etc. Please post with the required format and then we can try to help unless you did so already and I'm not seeing where it is....

Thank you, I had thought it was gorgeous:wtf: I don't understand how they have listed 3 fake bags (that I know of) and all listings have been removed but ebay continues to let them relist.


Actually, I just noticed the ostrich was not removed and someone paid $11,978 for it and left + feedback:nogood:

This bag is absolutely authentic,
Probably a unique piece as it is all lined with ostrich leather.
Probably either a special order or an employee bag.( pre-shooting star era). I lean to employeee bag as blindstamp seems to be missing. Not a problem to get the bag spa-ed after all those years, though.
From the mid 80's.( based on marking on plates , marking, zipper puller)

As for the condition, do not expect any improvement from the spa. Ostrich does not come back to any better look. What you see is what you'll get stuck with.;)
You can have the resins renewed though. But this bag does not seeem to need this.
