Crazy4Purses2, i don't think this is a real gucci bag either...as far as i know, real gucci bags don't have cell phone pockets (i own 2)...it's one of the tip offs to fake bags...i would call a gucci retailer to make 100% sure of that though

Per remarks above, I beg to differ with you...If you purchased a GUCCI fall collection purse, you will see that GUCCI now provides CELL PHONE holders in their purses. Visit the website youself, for example this tote I purchased directly at the GUCCI store...click here: Gucci - you will see if even indicates CELL PHONE POCKET.
gosh, i'm so sorry yiqiao-girl, but i'm 99% sure that's a fake :cry:...1 of the dead give-aways is the "gucci" name on the leather zipper pull...i've never seen anything like it before

RE: LEATHER ZIPPER PULL - Again, depending on when you last purchased a GUCCI purse - they now pur GUCCI on the leather pull tabs - I know, I just bought Gucci this purse yesterday and read your remarks -checked out my purse and it does have the GUCCI on the tab. Part of the fall 2006 collection -so this is probably something new and maybe something they don't do on every purse. But you are wrong to say they don't! sorry!
I not think this purse is authentic - best bet, go to NM, Saks for GUCCI and ask to see the purse in question. There are some characteristics that make me iffy. Sorry, but I am not a expert but I know it is a current style. Here is the purse off the GUCCI site - Gucci

I HAVE SEEN THIS BAG WITH DARK BROWN, WHITE AND LIGHT BROWN BRAIDED LEATHER STRAPS - BUT I HAVE NOT SEEN THE LIGHT LEATHER IN THE GUCCI STORE
DOES IT EXIST WITH LIGHTER LEATHER? and she said the colours vary a bit coz she used flash in some of the photos and the background light varies too...
she seems pretty confident and took a lot of detailed photos...

However, I think this one you've got pictures of is definitely real.
I'd say it's real, definitely. I can see a vast difference in quality. If you go to the previous page, you can see similar shots of the fake bag I got and had to return, too.
I'm no expert, but I figure maybe I should throw in my 2-cents considering just days ago I got that same bag and fake, and how much a difference yours is-- I think yours is definitely authentic!
