Everything is wrong with this bag...but you might want to start with the "nappa" leather that is made of pleather....

I spoke to the seller & she told me that she bought it from Nieman Marcus. This seller has a very good job (I saw that from her email) so I find it hard to believe she would sell me a fake. She also makes high end purchases & usually people who sell fakes don't purchase expensive authentic bags. I'm sure she doesn't need the money. I plan on taking it to a Fendi store to have it authenticated. I will update the information on this site. I would like to get to the bottom of this. She has offered me a refund many times in writing if I find out that it is a fake but if it is real I would also like to clear her name. The flash of the camera could make the leather look funky but can you tell me specifically what else is wrong with the bag since you state there are many things wrong? Thanks in advance.

I am the seller of this bag and there is no way this bag is fake. I only purchase authentic pieces and this bag was purchased at NM several years ago. The problem I have with this forum is that many of those that are commenting on the bag have not seen the bag in person nor have brought it in to the store to authenticate the piece and then assume that the item is fake. I stand by my item and have told the buyer that I would refund her money if she is not happy with the purchase or have any doubt whatsoever but I refuse to be accused that the item is fake when you haven't inpsected in person to make that claim.

best of luck to you, a Fendi boutique will not authenticate this bag for you, it's against their policy for legal reasons. if she sends you the NM receipt you can possible have them look it up. :shrugs:

i do agree with A.S. & BL.1, that does not look like Nappa leather to me.

The seller may not be knowingly selling you a fake, but the bag is definitely fake. Nappa leather does not look like that...the lining is completely wrong, and the hologram tag is not that of an authentic Fendi. baglady.1 and I have owned many different Fendi bags and know what to look for in terms of authenticity. For this bag, we really didn't need to look past the leather and the hologram tag to know that this is a fake... Sorry...I know that's not what you or the seller would want to hear.
