Authenticate This Fendi

baglady.1: thank you for looking at my photos! I am hoping you can elaborate on this one as Caroldiva told me it was not real since it didnt say Fendi in the stripes. Can you elaborate on your thoughts so I can take it back over to her and open a discussion there?

Not all FENDI striped bags say "fendi" on them. I absolutely love Carol Diva, but I think she would be the first to admit that her knowledge of vintage FENDI may be limited. I have collected several FENDI vintage pieces & draw my knowledge from these. The gold serial # imprinted on leather lining is particularly characteristic of many vintage pieces. So is the hardware.

i agree with BL1, with regards to Carol Diva, she is really great. But mainly her experience / expertise is Louis Vuitton.
