E -- these larger B Bags are a bit heavy & unbalanced in my personal opinion. The color is gorgeous on this hard leather version, but again, bear in mind that you may need to work out at the gym more just to carry it....and it is a bit of a balancing act to carry it, open it, etc. ;)

Please could you advise me of the pics to ask for to authenticate this "Fendi Padlock Tote" for sale on a private forum?

I've searched this thread for "Padlock Tote" but there were no results.

I kept looking at the hologram code, look & the serial # on the leather strip & thinking it all looked wrong!! Better ship that back & let's warn others....OMG!! :faint:

LESS - You should post about this in the forum, or do you mind If I post about it? Rue La La should NOT BE SELLING FAKE BAGS!!!

Scylla, I don't think it is real. Normally we need to see pics of interior, hologram tag & leather serial # strip or serial #, etc. But I really think the look of this bag is just all wrong....:tdown:

It figures that it would happen to me. I wanted a Fendi so badly and I thought I was getting one at a good price. Should have known better. I hope they don't give me a hard time with the return.

I have added the picture of the peeling hologram to my photo album.

Baglady, Please post this in the forum. You are a highly respected authenticator here on the forum and I'm a nobody. Your words mean much more than mine.

Really scary to get something counterfeit from Ruelala, makes me leery of buying anything else from them or gilt or hautelook too.

lol.., i think a 6 year old can beat me in an arm wrestling match.. :blushing:

I wasnt feeling the leather. i liked the Nappa that i carried in the Boutique

they have one on Yoogie's , previously posted on this thread. i think it's the smaller version. is the smaller style # 8BN165? i should have looked at the style # in the boutique. im going to call and ask.

only i think that Fendi B on Yoogi's is the exact same color as my Selleria Sporty & my Dr. B. , i don't want three bags that are the same color :confused1:

I am still in a state of shock over this. You had every right to assume you were receiving an authentic bag. RUE LA LA is considered a legitimate source of Authentic Handbags with Nationwide advertising. They have no excuse for such a Blunder!! :cursing:

Thank you so much, BagLady! I'm not personally interested but I wanted to protect the other girls if I can. I'll see what pics I can get. Seller says it was bought in the KaDeWe department store in Berlin.
