There were a few bags (just a few)in 2003 that just had a patch, but no hologram/authenticity tag. This bag looks like it may have been among those few.

Have only seen this phenomenon with the patch, but not a serial # strip so far....

Many thanks for all your help! I have just sold this bag on ebay For £125.00 was that a fair price?? as I don't really know how much a full leather Fendi Devil is worth.
