I can't find the serial number :(

I just found a similar bag on Malleries (see link below) and theirs has a fabric lining not leather like mine. I just noticed that the screws are not all straight on the closure - they should be horizontal and these go in different directions.

I guess I have a really good fake, right? I just can't believe it - it's soooo close.

It is insane how many bags they get away with listing! I don't understand how they are not pulled. I email her about the fakes she lists and receive no response. This needs to be reported.

Sometimes the factory may use different linings for the same bag made in a different season...but if there is no serial number inside the zippered pocket then I would stay away... :tdown:

Due to the nature of the item - there is nothing to authenticate (serial #/hologram) so we can't really give an opinion other than to say I don't see any red flags. I do know the eyeglass case is real just from my own collection. :smile1:

Thanks baglady1! I do see some sort of little number, it's shown in pic #9, but these old eyes can't make head or tail of it! As you can see, it only cost me $40.00 so it's not like it's a fortune!:smile1: He states it's 100% authentic, sometimes you just have to believe (though the fact that the eyeglass case is real is good back up!).
