I mentioned this bag on the "Deals" Thread...it is a LE Minispy with Hologram Spy bag lazered leather (hologram because its sheen when it turns is similar stange look). GL! :nuts:

I feel so sorry for the people that bid on those 2 auctions for 100s of dollars! I LOATHE LINDA'S STUFF...I've since seen some more fake Fendi's & YSL bags listed from her! PS Carol Diva doesn't know jack either always get a second opinion if you are unsure. Thank the lord for TPF....Thanks for the rant I feel much better now!

I am sooo glad you confirmed this for me. She still hasn't taken down the obviously FAKE FENDI SPY bag I previously mentioned nor responded to my email. I am finding from other authenticators & threads on authentification that Carol Diva & My Poupette should pretty much be used only for LVs. ON NON_LV BAGS: Only use Authentification services that have multiple authenticators focusing on a specific designer bag exclusively....so for now on I am going to Recommend FAKESPOTTERS since they have an actual FENDI exclusive authenticator on staff. I hear that the Hermes Ladies use this resource as well & have good experience. ;)

My personal experience with LINDAS STUFF - only bought 1 bag that was seriously misrepresented on conditon & total trash/unusable. The photos did not disclose the damage. She took it back - but I won't buy from her again. On her listings for FENDI bags, Many do not appear authentic, but some are definitely authentic. So this confuses buyer into thinking they are real. JMHO.

Other large Resellers who sell many different lines of bags use several individual authenticators who specialize in the different lines of bags and get a sign off before listing the bag in most cases. But it is still a good idea to have the bag reviewed at TPF....sometimes a nonauthentic bag will slip through. ;-)

PS: I do not work for FAKESPOTTERS nor do I have a relationship with the Company and welcome any other recommendations on Authentification services that are qualified to give opinions on FENDI bags.

First year of production was 2005. The regular spy (style #8BR511) has been the same size since inception. There are other sizes/styles, Baby, Mini Spy and Hobo version are some of them. There was a larger Spy in production but has been discontinued. You can see pics here in this reference sticky:

I sooo want to cry....someone outbid me in the last 4 seconds!!! I had even bid $50 over my highest bid just to be safe & whoever it was blew my boat waaay out of the water....I just had to share my heartache...i really wanted that bag!!!! Boooo...tricky bidders!

I don't think I have seen a minispy like that one, but they do show up on Evilbay every so often. Here is a link to samples photos of different Minispy Bags. I think they were only produced up until 2006/7 - click on thumbnail to see full size:

Another Great FENDI small bag is the "Vanity" from 2004-2006 seasons. I like it because it has a shoulder strap. Here are some Vanity pics - click on thumbnail to see full size:

It looks off to me, but would like to see complete pics of the bag, ser no, etc. to make any sort of call on it. ;)
