heh, i was looking out for gaucho wallets for those of you who were trying to find one. but i guess i'm not having any luck trying to help out either. :sad:

that said, they're really cute in person and are priced at 250 pounds, so it's not really as wallet-busting as say buying a gaucho itself.

as far as i can tell, it looks authentic, the tag and lining seem real to me. i'm not dead certain about this since certain fake gauchos do look pretty real to me until mayday pointed it out, so i guess it's best to wait for her to take a look.

perhaps the other ladies like chloe, or princesslisa, or others could chip in with their opinions about it too.

i am not positive but the lining doesnt look like look like any of mine diors and i looked at pics of the lining on eluxury and it doesnt look like the one on the auction but once again i am not an expert on the gaucho bag

I agree with Brian! This Gaucho is fake...the only thing that can confuse this with the real is how the seller tried to take a pic of this bag such that it looks like it has the same reflection as the one Kate Moss is holding in the Dior ad.

Hi Icecannons!

There are (sadly) no authentic Gaucho wallets on Ebay at this time. I think for this wallet it's better off going to the boutique to get it, but considering the price that some authentic Gauchos are going on Ebay I rather get another Gaucho bag than a wallet at regular retail price.

Hi Italy!

THis Gaucho looks authentic to me, although I am 99.9% sure...I'll get the extra 0.1% sure if she had better (larger) pictures of the interior tag and the cell phone pocket. Still, if you are interested in purchasing this Gaucho, I'd wait if I were you...I've seen authentic Gauchos of the same style and color end at far lower prices.
