yes i hope so too! cos they dont do returns, they say it's cos they guarantee the authenticity of their stuff. if it's a fake I'm soooo gonna blow my top! :cursing:

the thing is, i'm not in the US right now, and i'm getting the item shipped to my dad in Lynnwood, WA. Do u know where he can help me check it's authenticity? Is there a Dior near where he stays?

I'm from Canada so I'm not too sure about places to authenticate (sorry). But I do have a better suggestion. Can you please ask your dad to compare the bag with the pictures in the auction detail by detail? IF the details all match up then you can be sure your bag is authentic (because if I remember correctly the pictures in the auction were of the authentic bag and showed many details that can be used for authentication). At least this can alleviate any anxiety regarding its authenticity until the bag finally arrives in your hands, in which case you can bring the bag to a Dior boutique or special bag consignment shops for authentication to be 100% sure.

alright...i'll tell him to do just that! hehe! was just thinking that since i'm in Singapore now it'll be a hassle if he brought it back and we found out it's a fake. Moreover he can be quite ditzy! LOL! nevermind, i'll tell him to do his best then! thanks soooo much for your help! ur a gem!!!

The seller accepted my offer for the black Jacquard Dior Dtrick for $270 shipped. I am pretty happy about the price..I did notice she take down the listing..so hopefully, what I see is what I get.

I'm bidding for the pink jacquard one..I did notice the big stain..do you think it's hard to remove it? What max price would you think is reasonable?

Wow...$270 for the black jacquard D'Trick is a good price! I hope this transaction works out fine for you (yeah, having the auction taken down is a good sign).

As for the pink jacquard, I have no idea how to clean this type of fabric but I think that you can call a Dior boutique and they can get that cleaned for you. Unlike uncoated canvas, the pink canvas can be cleaned without ruining the logos or stripping the color. I just don't know how they are going to do it.

Hmmm...what would be a good price for this D'Trick? I've seen one end unsold at $200US (it sold when it got relisted), so I wouldn't put more than $200 on it. I think there's more than 1 TPFer interested in this purse though (given that this bag was already posted by another TPFer in this thread), so don't disclose your max bid!:smile1:

To be honest, the pink jacquard D'Trick is one of my favourite bags. The pink and white combination is perfect, and the bag looks so classy and extravagant. I haven't had a chance to buy one, though, because I heard that it was on sale at the outlets and haven't found a chance to go (living in Canada, especially). But you can't get one at the outlet for anything close to $116!!!!! Congratulations!

Hi zerodross!

ALL of these pictures are of authentic Dior bags. I noticed something strange though...if you look inside the two Lady Dior bags you'll notice that both have a partition in the middle, but one has leather forming the top of the partition and one doesn't. I know that Dior styles aren't always consistent, but I find that rather strange. It doesn't make them inauthentic, though. However, I'm not too sure about truisting the seller with only 2 feedback scores. I've been ripped off once by a seller with only 1 feedback score (she stole my money and ran away!).

One more thing...the reserve on the cannage quilted drawstring tote is very high...so high that you can actually get this at a boutique for almost the same price (and not have to wait for shipping and Ebay anxiety). Plus the seller has private feedback, which is a bit alarming to me.

You're welcome aitienadog! OMG! You bought so many in 3 weeks?! I can't wait to see some of them in the Dior collections thread!

To post pictures, you click on the paperclip icon (not the Insert Image icon) next to the font color icon in the "advanced reply" page. Then you can attach a maximum of 3 pics (of size 195KB or so) per reply. I had to resize my images to meet this file size requirement, so be prepared to do that too.
