Yes, I was looking for a similar label. Vintage Dior is difficult to authenticate because Dior went through a period where they licensed their name to many different companies, thus resulting in inconsistent products.
The rest of the bag in your pictures looks fine. I am pretty positive that it is authentic, although I cannot be 100% sure.
Thank you Averagejoe and Eminere for your answers. I don't know what to do with this kind of bag. I think it is authentic but I can't be sure. I have the same bag at home, a very old Dior travel bag in blue canvas. It is very beautiful but I'm afraid to wear a fake bag... And the bag stays in my closet.
Here are the results of my research about vintage dior made in France:
There is a lot of differents styles:
- Burgundy round purse : http://www.etsy.com/listing/9534337...p_to=ZZ&ga_min=0&ga_max=0&ga_search_type=all-
- Burgundy toiletry bag: http://cgi.ebay.fr/VINTAGE-SAC-A-MA...ur_femmes&hash=item231f554b3b#ht_3354wt_1219-
- Black travel bag.
What do you think?
