thanks a lot Joe, i actually received the bag yesterday and it is very dark brown and the inside is lined in leather rather than usual jacquard lining.......the seller did send me unclear photograps which i posted on this thread and cudnt get authenticated because of that...but then due to the leather lining, which is only the characteristics of exotic leather bags, i bought it..these photograps are taken by me and i thought i would just authenticated...just in case.....nowadays you never know as the fakes are getting better and better so someone with experience can have a look on the bag and decide....but im relived now and its the first time buying a croco leather and im happy its real.

If it is brown, then it is definitely real crocodile. I hope that you got it for an awesome price!

Looks like the bag is called the Dior Perle from the tag. I'm not as familliar with the line, but here is the old ad for it:

No one to authenticate this one?

This bag is difficult to authenticate because there is no interior tag with the logo. It looks okay so far, though.

There are lots of posts here and authenticators may miss one or two every once in a while by accident. It doesn't mean that there is no one to authenticate your bag.

Thank you very much for your answer ;)

I reposted my question because I thought that you haven't seen it. No problem.

You're right, this bag is difficult to authenticate because of the "Made in France" black label. Vintage Dior logo bags usually have "made in france / garanti scotchgard" or "Christian Dior bagages" labels.

But I think this one is an older version of Christian Dior bags, maybe from the late 1950s - early 1960s, and the styles as changed throughout the years. The inside of this bag is not the same as the most popular Dior logo bags from the 1980s. It is more simple, with a long line of canvas on the back of the bag. However, the outside is exactly the same.
It's not the first bag I've seen with this design. I read on internet that the first Christian Dior bags used to have the "Made in France" black label. In the 1950s, the stamps and the logos where less important than today.

What do you think about that?

(Sorry for my english, I'm french).

Yes, I was looking for a similar label. Vintage Dior is difficult to authenticate because Dior went through a period where they licensed their name to many different companies, thus resulting in inconsistent products.

The rest of the bag in your pictures looks fine. I am pretty positive that it is authentic, although I cannot be 100% sure.

I concur.
