I am by no means an expert (just have a few Delvaux bags), but I have never seen this model. Additionally the signature and the inside do not look like I would expect DELVAUX to look... But probably best taking it to a or contacting a DELVAUX store. Failing that there is a book that includes many of their vintage models which has been issued some years ago by Delvaux which might also be helpful.

Hello, hoping someone is still checking this thread and can help me out..

I need help authenticating this Delvaux bag, it is a bucket style with a drawstring opening and may be carried over the shoulder or as a backpack.
It feels good quality and I believe it's real...not entirely sure though as I'm not an expert by any means.
I'd be grateful if anyone has any input, I've emailed Delvaux but yet to receive a reply.

Thanks in advance!
x

Hello, I guess this bag isn't a real Delvaux. The stitching is definitely not up to Delvaux standards... and I don't recognize the model... Sorry...

The "golden" stamp is not one you'll find in a real Delvaux.
It's tacky and not a clean design as it should be.
The finishing of the phone pocket and keystrap on the inside is horrible.
Just a piece of leather cut and sewn in.
Not something delvaux would do.

Look how the leather is cut just above the stamp. If this was a real Delvaux that would be maximum 1mm in a straight line so it woild be hardly noticeable.

Sorry no doubt this is a Fake.

No worries, thank you guys! I got it from a Charity shop for 50p because I liked the unusual design so it's no skin off my nose anways, haha.
Sorry, I clearly don't have the eye for detail as you guys do on this forum.

Cheers again.

please help authenticate this delvaux?
